Members Comments

Being part of The Grand means being part of an exclusive group of like-minded individuals. In today's hurried world it is sometimes difficult to appreciate just what it means to relax and unwind. What better way to unwind than with a friendly game of golf in the majestic setting of The Grand with friends, family and business associates.

"It is one of the best courses I have ever played. A real difficult structure that tests the golfer in you: rewarding good golf and punishing bad. To think that we can have a round in such a magnificent setting without the hassles of the resort courses is just wonderful."

Alan Jones
Businessman, Formula One World Champion

"The small investment I have made will be a wise investment for the future. By having limited members this will allow me golf at a moments notice, without having to book or queue, as I experience at so many courses. The club offers a great investment opportunity to any serious investor."

W.R. (Bob) ELL
Executive Chairman
LEDA HOLDINGS Pty Ltd

"A tremendous course. A true test of your golf game and a course that keeps you coming back to try and tame the beast. An elegant club that provides excellent opportunities to socialise with others."

Gary Pemberton
Chief Executive Officer

"The Grand's exclusivity will be assured by the limited memberships encompassing actual part ownership of the facility. The standards of personal service have not previously been offered in Australia and already there is developing a spirit of camaraderie amongst the members."

Robert Gregg
Company Director

"What I see today makes me happy to accept the number one member's badge so that I can retain a link with the future of the club. The Grand is like Augusta National in character and feel."

Greg Norman
Golfer, Designer and Businessman

"I believe the membership is underpriced. It should be by invitation and priced at $100,000. The course is that good and unique. I feel that within a few short years, as more and more people find out about The Grand and will want to join, the share price will escalate as have similar courses throughout the world.

It makes a lot of sense to use those already outlaid funds and have your self-managed superannuation fund buy the share. The ownership of the share by self managed super fund offers considerable savings from capital gains tax when the share is realised in years to come."

Paul Brannelly
Director
BRANNELLY GROUP OF COMPANIES

"I have been and still am a member of private Country Clubs in five countries: USA Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. I always choose a Club which has a good course and fewer members. The Grand is one ideal Club here."

Kyusen "Kay" Ohashi
Semi-retired Japanese TV Personality and Owner of "OK" Gift Shops

"The Grand Golf Club is a unique and eminently satisfying concept. From a networking viewpoint The Grand would rank with the Chairman's Lounge - it is first class all the way! Another significant benefit in joining The Grand is the fact that the members own the real estate of the golf course - this adds real value to the membership. To me, golf is an important part of my life and the opportunity to play at The Grand has added greatly to my enjoyment of the game."

Jim Kennedy A.O.C.B.E
Chairman Queensland Investment Corporation
